FAQs

Can anyone come to Momentum Fest?

Yes! You can be a teacher or student from any movement or training background. You can be completely inexperienced or a professional educator. It doesn’t matter! Momentum Fest is a festival celebrating Pilates and movement and we encourage anyone who is excited about these things to attend.

When do sessions start and end for the weekend?

Activities will begin at approximately 7:30am Friday morning and conclude at approximately 3:00pm Sunday.

What can I expect from a typical day?

There will be approximately six different time blocks each day for you to chose classes that you would like to attend. These sessions will include both movement and roundtable experiences. Movement classes will be a variety of formats and will be taught like a typical class with all attendees being the students and moving through the session. Roundtable experiences will be less movement and more of a sharing of ideas and introspection. These sessions are included in your ticket price and start at about 7:30am and end at about 5:00pm each day.

You will also have the option of purchasing intimate reformer and chair classes for an additional cost. These will be released in early 2020.

There will be open hours for our expo and vendors throughout the days and a break for lunch where you’ll have plenty of time to chat with friends and shop!

We will hold a welcome reception Friday at 5:00pm and a Saturday evening summer solstice party at 8:30pm. Both are included in the price of your ticket!

Where can I see the class schedule and descriptions?

The 2020 Momentum Fest class schedule will be released in early 2020.

Will there be CEC’s offered for Momentum Fest?

We do not offer continuing education credits for the main Momentum Fest event. The reason for this is our desire to give everyone space to feel and experience this event in their body, mind and soul. We want you to get away from the need to take notes and get into the actual experience!

Will you be offering a pre-conference day for CEC’s?

We will be offering a pre-conference CEC day on Thursday, June 25, for Momentum Fest 2020. This is a great chance to receive some PMA CECs before Momentum Fest itself has started. Details to come.

Will meals be provided?

You have the option of purchasing meal tickets for a boxed lunch on each of the days of Momentum Fest. There are also various food options at the hotel and within short walking distance of the event.

What if I purchased a ticket but can’t come?

Momentum Fest tickets are non-refundable and there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. Tickets can be transferred to another individual. The last day ticket transfer requests can be made for our 2020 event is June 19th, 2020. Once you find someone to transfer your ticket to, fill out a ticket transfer request form and email it to info@momentumfest.com. You can find the ticket transfer request form here.
