FAQs

Can anyone come to Momentum Fest?

Yes! You can be a teacher or student from any movement or training background. You can be completely inexperienced or a professional educator. It doesn’t matter! Momentum Fest is a festival celebrating Pilates and movement and we encourage anyone who is excited about these things to attend.

When do sessions start and end for the weekend?

Activities will begin at approximately 8:00am Friday morning and conclude at approximately 3:00pm Sunday.

What can I expect from a typical day?

There will be approximately six different time blocks each day for you to chose classes that you would like to attend. These sessions will include both movement and lecture experiences. Movement classes will be a variety of formats and will be taught like a typical class with all attendees being the students and moving through the session. Lecture experiences will be less movement and more of a sharing of ideas and introspection. These sessions are included in your ticket price and start at about 8:30am and end at about 5:00pm.

You will also have the option of purchasing intimate reformer classes for an additional cost. These will be released later in 2018.

There will be open hours for our expo and vendors throughout the days and a break for lunch where you’ll have plenty of time to chat with friends and shop!

We will hold a welcome reception Friday at 5:00pm and a Saturday evening summer solstice party at 7:30pm. Both are included in the price of your ticket!

Where can I see the class schedule and descriptions?

The 2019 Momentum Fest class schedule will be released in late 2018.

Will there be CEC’s offered for Momentum Fest?

We do not offer continuing education credits for the main Momentum Fest event. The reason for this is our desire to give everyone space to feel and experience this event in their body, mind and soul. We want you to get away from the need to take notes and get into the actual experience!

Will you be offering a post-conference day for CEC’s?

We will be offering a post-conference CEC day on Monday, June 24, for Momentum Fest 2019. This is a great chance to stay and receive some CECs after Momentum Fest itself has ended. Details will be released in late 2018.

Will meals be provided?

You have the option of purchasing meal tickets for a boxed lunch on each of the days of Momentum Fest. There are also numerous food options at the hotel and within short walking distance of the event.

What if I purchased a ticket but can’t come?

We do not offer refunds for Momentum Fest tickets but tickets can be transferred. If you find out you are unable to attend and have someone who would like to use your ticket, please contact us info@momentumfest.com to start the transfer process.
